How To: Install Privacy Screen Pro

    What You Will Need
    • Pair of Scissors
    Included with Package
    • 2 inch x 1.6 inch Privacy Screen
    • Graph Sheet for Sizing
    • Screen Cleaning Cloth
    • Soft Applicator Card
    Instructions for Applying Privacy Screens

    1. Using the micro fiber cleaning cloth (provided), gently wipe away dust and fingerprints from the phone.

    2. Measure the screen of your phone (Remember to leave space around the screen so the light from the screen doesn’t come through the sides.)

    3. Cut graph sheet to measured size. (8800 Users do not need to cut the privacy screen; go to Step 6)

    4. Verify the size of the graph sheet on the phone's screen.

    5. Cut the Privacy Screen film using the graph as a guide.

    6. Peel thick backing from privacy screen (There are two films, remove the thicker one in this step). Once this is done, DO NOT touch the sticky side of the screen-guard (bottom). Doing so will leave fingerprints. Handle the screen-guard from the sides and top.

    7. Line up the privacy screen with the phone’s screen starting from the bottom. Lay the privacy screen down.

    8. Using the soft card (provided) smooth out any air bubbles between the screen-guard and phone.*

    9. Peel the plastic coating from the privacy screen (The thinner film, on the outside of the screen)

    10. Follow steps 2-4 when applying the scroll wheel guard (if applicable).

Privacy Screens are sold on-line at www.case-mate.com
*The Privacy Screen Pro is a self-adhesive polymer that adheres with static electricity and may be removed without leaving a sticky adhesive residue.

Yes. There are privacy screens available for the Pearl, Curve and 8800 series. Additionally, the privacy screens can be cut to fit any device screen
