I reccomend the guys over at www.bbrepairshop.com. I have used them a few times for housings (like my black 7100x one) and other parts. Paul is very quick on responding to emails and the shipping is fast. Plus stackers get %10 off. can't beat that.

| Re: Guide to: Blackberry parts, Repair Shops, RIM Return Policy & Warranty
I have a model 6230, that when I deleted 3 games went into an update mode and came back with a JVM error 106 reset. I pushed the entry button and it went to RESET. Since then the only way I can get it out of reset mode is to take the battery out and leave it out. When you put the battery back in, it goes into reset mode and stays there. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this. Bob Graham grahm95 |

grahm95, Welcome to PinStack. Not really the correct place to post this question, but I will try to answer. Are you really talking about a 6230, or is that a typo for 7230? You need to Reload your OS. To start with, you will need the latest OS for your BB, if it is still available. Check the link to your carrier in this thread, Blackberry OS Software links (by carrier). As to loading the OS, follow the procedure in this thread, How to: OS 4.1 Upgrade for your Blackberry. You may not be using 4.1, but the procedure should be the same. Rcbjr. |
