CTIA 2010: HTC EVO 4G is Sprint's Android Superphone

Sprint has announced it's newest smartphone. Introducing America's first 4G phone.
This phone is almost like a dream come true. If you could make a list of features you would like in a new phone it would be this phone. Look over Sprints page for full spec details.
All I can say is WoW!
Sprint has not announced the device price just yet and they are keeping the release dates to themselves.
Same goes for the Voice/Data Plans. Look for those as we get closer to it's release.

    Android 2.1
    HTC Sense
    1GHz Snapdragon processor
1GB of storage and 512MB of RAM
    WiFi
    3G-4G mobile hotspot capabilities
Duel Camera including 8.0 megapixel primary and 1.3 megapixel front facing
    GPS Navigation
    Stereo Bluetooth
    microSD card (supports 32GB)
    3.5 mm headset
    Proximity and motion sensor
    Digital Compass
    HDMI connection

    More from Sprint

Twice the memory of the DROID, nice, although I have not run into any memory issues yet, more is always better! Devs will develop even more amazing apps for Android as their ability to handle them increases.

I wanted to post the Press Release but it's so long no one would want to read it all

It has some great specs along with a good OS and lots of options. What is does not talk about is battery life and of course other things that allow u to manage the data on the phone.
If your needing a video demo b/c your jones-ing try here there are two videos of the bad boy.

Here is another video that has made it to YouTube different than the above link. The device is neat and hands down the best to date.

I'm back in a holding pattern again I really like this device but Sprint in my area resembles a turd in a punch bowl. Maybe I will get lucky and it will gain another carrier soon. I don't see that happening but who knows maybe HTC will drop another sexy version out the door on another carrier.
