I can't say I blame them in all honesty. These users were consuming way more data then a typical Sidekick user and paying the same.

Over the past week, some T-Mobile iPhone customers noticed that their data service suddenly stopped working. Users with unlocked iPhones had been paying $1 a day for unlimited data and text messaging using the Sidekick data plan. It was a great value.
Customers who contacted T-Mobile support received mixed answers. Representatives stated that service was down in their area or that they needed to upgrade to their normal data plan.

Well isn't obvious. how much you want to beat the iphones users on T-mo is rising and they got threaten by either apple or ATT.

Nothing Apple or AT&T could do about it. You've bought it and unlocked it, so it's yours. Problem is, like I said, the iPhone users were using way more data then the Sidekick users for the price. The same plan with them for a BB is $34.95.
