T-Mobile stops prepaid Sidekick data service to unlocked iPhone users
Over the past week, some T-Mobile iPhone customers noticed that their data service suddenly stopped working. Users with unlocked iPhones had been paying $1 a day for unlimited data and text messaging using the Sidekick data plan. It was a great value.
Customers who contacted T-Mobile support received mixed answers. Representatives stated that service was down in their area or that they needed to upgrade to their normal data plan.
I can't say I blame them in all honesty. These users were consuming way more data then a typical Sidekick user and paying the same.
It was good while it lasted.

Well isn't obvious. how much you want to beat the iphones users on T-mo is rising and they got threaten by either apple or ATT.
..........SHAKE N BAKE..........
Nothing Apple or AT&T could do about it. You've bought it and unlocked it, so it's yours. Problem is, like I said, the iPhone users were using way more data then the Sidekick users for the price. The same plan with them for a BB is $34.95.
