    The question is, how important are apps when choosing a smartphone? Apple has shifted a lot of focus to apps recently.

    I would give At&t some credit but we all know Apple is a control freak. Unfortunate in some cases and we'll see if that changes any in a few months.

    I thinks third party applications are big factor when it comes to choosing devices. With this aspect, Apple knocked one out the park with their ease of getting apps to their end users.

    I agree, one can not argue with the success of their App Store. Simple, clean, and it just WORKED. Very Apple-like.
    We can only hope that the RIM App Store (Or whatever name it will be under) will be implemented as smoothly across multiple device models.
