Effective immediately, BioAuthorize, a Scottsdale, AZ tech firm, has activated an agreement for its yadaTranslate free-form language translator, allowing for text language translations between 22 different languages, to be offered on the BlackBerry App World.
The new application is under the Reference & eBooks category for use on the BlackBerry Curve, Pearl, Bold and Storm. BioAuthorize also has pending approval with the BlackBerry App World, its application yadaSay free-form English and Spanish text and voice language translator. yadaSay is currently available through the Apple App Store for the iPhone and iTouch.
"This application offering with the BlackBerry App World is another major step for BioAuthorize into the arena for mobile hand-held device applications," said company president Yada Schneider. "Already our iPhone app yadaSay is seeing repeated use by those who have downloaded it with in excess of 1,000 translations a week," he added.
"These initial product offerings are seeing very positive acceptance, and we anticipate similar or even greater use rates from the BlackBerry App platform," he said.

i can't find the APP for my Bold....
Seems that RIM is still having the issues they had when they first launched APP WORLD where some APPs show for some and not others.
cool app, very useful
Hmmmm I couldn't find it either when I checked for the 8900. Hope to get it soon, would really come in useful.![]()
I found it but I don't wanna pay until i can try it out.Hmmm
Purchased and downloaded yesterday. Been playing around with it quite a bit.
a couple things to note.
It states that it translates XX so many languages however when I was trying to get the translator to do the English to japanese i just got a series of obsquere squares.
The English to Spanish works quite nice, the only thing that would be nice is a bit more of an annunciation feature. Some way of knowing how to pronounce exactly what the text shows.
Thats it for now. Still think that the app is worth the few $$ they ask for.
