    Re: Typing Input Methods explained

I hate the Sh** out of SureType sometimes. If it types "get" instead of "Hey" one more time im gonna .... uggh ...amyway, yeah i know I can go into my word list and remove it but I still need the word "get"..so i'll just be tortured till I go back to a full qwerty.

Question Re: Typing Input Methods explained

On some of the 7100i's I manage, the users have been complaining about the AutoText not working. I researched the user guide & I don't see where there is an option to shut this tool on/off. Am I missing something?

Is there a way to lock the 8830 keyboard so you can type numbers w/o holding down the alt key??

Yes. While holding the alt key, press the num key and it locks it in, like a num lock on your PC. On the 8830 the num key is on the bottom row, far left, next to the zero. The key on the opposite end of the bottom row is the caps lock key.
