Vendor themes are themes created by Plazmic/Blackberry for a lot of the Carriers. They're the "Carrier Branded Themes" that start up for each of the Carriers unless you add other themes.

Hi, I am trying to follow the instructions but I have not the shared folder when I go to Common Files\Research In Motion. I tried to fin Blackberry.alx in all my computer including hidden files, but nothing came up... Any ideas?
My Desktop Manager is version 4.7.032, and my BB is a 8320 with the lastest firmware...
Thank you in advanced.

you said your 8320 has the latest firmware, but is that firmware (often called OS) on your PC? that is where the blackberry.alx file is located. until you have it download AND installed on your PC, you won't be able to edit it
welcome to the stacks

i checked and tried to modify the "read only" tag from the file in properties in vista for the Blackberry.alx file, but still was not succesfull, any suggestions?

Ugh ok well I'm pretty sure I did all this right.
But when I open up the DM nothing will come up saying that it needs to be updated.
I edited the .alx file and saved as a replacement .alx
Then deleted the .xml file.
Did I do something wrong?
