try this, After editing with notepad, save it as blackberry.txt in some other directory, then rename it blackberry.alx and move it to the correct folder.

Is there anyway to get the vodafone white theme without unlocking all the vendor themes?

If you know which theme it is you can just add you Vendor Id to that theme. Or to find it, just add it one at a time to each of the Vodafone themes removing the last one at the same time as adding the new one until you find the correct one.

im having trouble
it says that i am missing a needed application, "net.rim.blackberry.xml" what does this mean

It probably means that your initial installation of the device software on the PC was incomplete. Try to redownload and reinstall it.

how do I go about
1.Unlocking my BB curve on att network..att techs said there is NO such thing..all I need to do is request international calling feature
2. is there an unlock option for BB Curve 8310 from att to unlock ALL vendor themes?
05-18-2008, 11:19 PM
1. You need to get AT&T to send the unlock code. But that isn't necessary for this.

Where do I find the codes for themes from other vendors to add to my BB. I have the 8310? And once found...do I just add it into the blackberry.alx file? Sorry, I'm very new at this. Thanks for all of your guys' help!

If you mean custom themes available for sale or free, and not the Carriers special themes that are the subject of this thread, check out this thread, Themes: How To Find, Download, Install And Activate for your answer.
