I have been so paranoid about losing my messages/call logs (it happened twice now) that I do the log clear more than once a day!!! I see the OPTIONS menu in the Event Log but am wary about changing anything under there....

You should download softreset and use that instead of pulling your battery all the time.

Thank for the info. I have just this week begun to experience these auto-deletions and this information provided just what I needed.

Just go ahead and go to geekandproud.net/blackberry/softreset/softreset.zip and I believe you can also download color pearl from there as well.

Re: How To: Stop Disappearing SMS/MMS/E-mail/Call Logs

Hi Guys. This forum really helped me out today after my boss came in with her Blackberry phone complaining that some of her emails and logged calls had disappeared. Keep up the good work.

Just joined this forum and loving it after getting a new curve a week ago.
I currently have around 16000000 spare and use a SD card for pics etc. So far I have not had any issues with memory but would like to remove extra languages....

but Im stuck.......I am using a UK T-mobile 8310 OS 4.2.2..........when I open the application loader all it shows are the themes and 3rd party applications. I can't see the languages anywhere. How do I show them?
At the bottom of the window there is a tick box 'List additional applications that are installed on the connected device' it is ticked but greyed out so I can't untick it......

    any ideas?
