Stitcher Introduces Bluetooth Support to Its BlackBerry App
Stitcher, an award-winning provider of news and talk radio for mobile phone users, released version 1.2 of its BlackBerry app this week. The new version brings Bluetooth support to the app, meaning users can listen to Stitcher via wireless headsets, car kits, and other Bluetooth devices.
Stitcher 1.2 also features improved navigation and stability. The new version is available today at www.stitcher.com/dl, and the upgrade will be available in BlackBerry’s App World within the week.
“We wanted to offer our BlackBerry users a superior product,” said Stitcher CEO and co-founder Noah Shanok. “Stitcher has proven popular among BlackBerry owners, and their feedback plays a major role in determining the adjustments we make to Stitcher.”
Stitcher 1.2 is now available on every BlackBerry the app currently supports, including the Curve 8300, Curve 8310, Curve 8320, Curve 8900, Bold 9000, Storm 9500, Storm 9530, 8800 and 8820. Stitcher will soon also be available on the 8830, Curve 8330 and Tour 9630.
