Essex (Tour 2) and Atlas are the ones in line.

RoGro - No I didn't, but the sensitivity seemed like that of my Pearl (can't remember how I had it set), it might because with the trackball you could roll your thumb up past your knuckle and it's not as comfortable/easy with the pad. But, I don't really like change all that much LOL, so I'm probably just being picky

I really like the new generation trackball on my 8900, but it still has same problems available, as there is nothing to prevent things from getting in there and messing it up.

I have never, and I mean never, was as excited about a new BlackBerry as I am this one. Note to my local AT&T store: have mine ready when the doors open.

I wonder if I can talk AT&T into giving me an "exception" upgrade. I have had so many problems with my 9700 and they have offered it before, but I always turned it down. I wonder if I can ask them for it now...

I got to play around with me wife's new 8520 and the track pad is a nice touch. I still like the trackball and I hope they don't get rid of it completely, but I wouldn't rule out the 9700 because of the track pad. It addressed the issue of peoples ball getting dirty and them having to take it out.

Can't wait to use my upgrade!!! I've heard rumors of a BLACK FRIDAY release from a AT&T employee. I know we have some AT&T employees on the stacks; how true is this rumor????

TMO has always let me upgrade for the new customer price even when my last upgrade was only months prior. It is always worth it to call in and ask for an early upgrade. Ask for the loyalty department of whatever carrier that you have.
