Arrow Beta sent to some users, more on the way..

    Hi All,
Thank you for your interest in beta. I have sent the beta cut to first 20 members. If everything goes well with their install and following their feedback, we can go ahead with public beta.

Also, to answer some of the questions in the thread -

Yes, this app integrates with the native SMS app. That means, no separate icon or anything of that sort. Just install, and you are ready to go!

No, its not SMS Chat. Its an SMS Viewer just like the Empower HTML Mail Viewer.

Just install it and open your native SMS app just as you do today. You will get an enhanced view of your SMSes. Also being a viewer, it will not affect any of your native functions in any way - Reply, Fwd, Delete etc - everything will continue to work as before.

Awaiting the word from the beta users before we proceed further.

    Thanks,
    Ani.

So I opened my first sms and was startled by the big smileys all over. Had my first cup of coffee and still not keen on that theme. Its distracting. I playewith the time format and changed it up. I seleced mm/dd/yy and its showing me dd/mm/yy.
I hope you're adding more themes because the smiley is just to childish for me.

ealvnv - yes please. One thread will be easier for me to track.

morgase - yes, will gladly include more themes.. looking into Options almost gives that out..

    Best,
    Ani.

    Yep, ditto.
    Not a smiley fan.
Does make it easier to keep track of a conversation.

Could it be possible to have date time as option? Or possibly @ the top or seperateing threads? Example:
    mm/dd/yy
    Text bubble
    Text bubble
    (Date change)mm/dd/yy

    Just a thought.

Just installed on my 8330, is there something I'm missing? It basically shows the number and your SMS/MMS in the pretty screen? Are there other features I'm missing out on?

ahh o.k. well in that case more themes or the option of using your own user created background would be nice!

Check all the other date formats and they work okay. Time format is working properly.
Even on my bold it seems crowded. Is it possible to have date and time one one line with message below. Maybe a possibility to change the font sizes?

Seems to be working as designed. What other features are you planning to implement? Also good to hear about themes. Hopefully ones one can download.

    Seems to be working OK.

My only suggestions mostly have already been mentioned. Time and date stamp placement, Themes, and I would add just for my own preference for the picture of the sender to be a touch larger.

Looks like a good app. I haven't noticed any real issues at all. Good work and thanks for allowing me to test.
