Are there any instructii]ons for how to use SA with BB? I want to buy both but I am lost. Could someone give me one example (let's say missed phone call)of the settings in each so that they work together? I'll take it from there.
getting frustrated here...

I have an alert set for missed phone call.
Create the alert.
Alert Name: Enter what you want.
Number: Enter the number you want the alert for. DO NOT use spaces
Name in blackberry profiles: <New>
New Name: Enter a name to show in the profiles
LED Color: choose your color. Some of us are recommending white or red due to some issues we've had before but it's personal preference
Reminder Alert every: I have 60 Sec but it's a bit too quick
Then go into your Profile Settings and find the SA alert and give it a ringtone.

If you use SA for emails then you might want to elect to keep Berry Buzz with System defaults. We were finding that you would get multiple color LED flashes whenyou set up and Email LED in Buzz and then one in SA.
I have a specific email address set up for one of my accounts with SA. With Berry buzz on the account set to say Green and the SA alert set to orange, it would flash green and then orange. With it set to just default in Berry Buzz it only flashes the orange.
One thing to remember in SA is that it scans the messages from top to bottom. If you want to use SA for your email account like Hotmail.com to flash a certain color and then an alert from a particular person with email@example.com account, place the Joe's alert on top of the hotmail alert to get the correct ringtone and LED.
SMS messges are touch and go. Some of us get the standard Red and then the SA LED and some just get the SA LED.
I'd highly recommend BerryPopup too. it started as part of SA then branched into it's own app. It's pretty cool.

Ditto with morgase. BerryPopup works excelent with SA as it will popup a preview of the message without going to the mailbox then the message itself. The only problem so far with BP is that html message sometimes look messed up because of the coding but still is avery valuable tool

And you can't open a SMS text message from the popup. And thanks to RIM OS we can't get it to work with BBM.
