Pearl Lovers, 9100 Pearl is Coming!

I know quite a few users who love the small candy bar size and style of the Pearl and with the last update being the Pearl Flip 8220 fans of the original have been wondering if an update to their favorite style BlackBerry would ever arrive. Fear not suretype lovers, the BlackBerry 9100 Pearl possibly codenamed Striker is on the way! There's not much info yet like specs, but as seen in the pics, like the newer devices the trackball has been replaced with the trackpad and it has been updated in style to match the latest devices. Anyone excited about this?

Hmm from the pic it doesn't look really that different. The only thing that stands out for me is the new trackpad.

The original Pearl was a great phone. What are the specs on this new one? Size?

LOL Forget the 9700 and 8520. THIS is my next phone. I guess My 8120 and 8100 will have to limp along until this comes out.

Oi, another one ! It looks very good, if I can get my grubby fingers around the keyboard and suretype - any idea on the processor and the OS, azstar ?

Was never a big Pearl fan and will never own one, but I have to admit, it's a nice-looking device.

LMAO here are all the phones I wanted to get:

    8220 Flip
    9000 Bold
    8900 Curve
    iPhone 3GS
    HTC Touch Pro 2
    LG EnV3
    8230 Flip
    9630 Tour
    8520 Curve
    9700 Bold

But I think the 9100 may be it.

I just need to know when T-Mobile or AT&T will get it, if they will have more than one color available when released, and if it will have more onboard memory, 3G, GPS and WiFi. I can't understand why the full QWERTY devices are the only ones that can have it all.

I hope the 9300 curve does come out with the supposedly hybrid version touchscreen/keyboard.
