Hmm, what is the overall best and most usable beta release following .210? I really wanna upgrade again but don't know if its a general consensus to go straight for .247 or something inbetween.

I would have to say .247. I've been on .167,.210,.219,.229,.237,.241,.244,and now on .247. This has been the best for me, quicker in every aspect compared to the rest, .237 was very good also, I say the only thing .247 has over .237 is a little speed in browsing and downloads, the media player is fine, and media loads quicker. I think the UI in general was a tad bit quicker except for media loads. Also .247 has been very stable over the past weeks and I run a good many apps through out the day. Plus the long hold is great.

My Calendar is working fine. Lots of Birthdays, and appointments

I have other problems with .247

    - My LED is constantly RED and screen fades. I have to do a reboot to correct it.
    - Drops to EDGE frequently

On the plus side, I have had no reboots, no dropped calls.

although .247 has been absolutely awesome... im starting to get the itch for a new one...

when is there going to be an OS that makes a significant change?

    new features? easier access?
all those things that little free apps are doing should be built into the OS !!!
    i see RED...

i doubt it... i think rim's too busy creating new devices with similar features and bigger price tags so that we keep upgrading...

i have a funny feeling that we may never reach the .300 mark...
    i see RED...

We may see a few more but I think reds right, I don't think we'll make it to .300. 5.0 looks to be on the horizon so let's hope RIM fixes the known issues that they haven't addressed with that and also a better browser. That's the only thing I like about the Iphone(did I just say that), I would like to be able to view multiple sites without having to leave where I'm at on one to load another. My question is, are we going to be able to load 5.* on our devices or is it going to be for just the latest devices. I hope they don't leave us Bold owners out of the loop.
