SPEED ! one of the improvements i have found is the GPS pickup. On this release sitting in my office at my desk, looking out the window I get my location on google maps almost immediately. Before it took minutes to get closer than 2000m.

Lol, they just got 4.5 online. I imagine that it will be a while, although they should do what's right and at least put one of these out. Seeing how many problems people have been having with the factory OS .167. Saying that, I wouldn't hold my breath.

AT&T seems to be really slow to keep up with OS updates. It could seem like a bad thing, but if they are doing things right, they are saving us the heart ache and pain of a buggy official OS.

2 things, 1. when you press menu while in a menu it selects the option you are hilighting
And 2. There is some compbatability issue with the new os and MAC computers

Just wondering what their excuse was for .167.

What did you mean by the first point? I don't see any difference.

usually when i would press menu while in an application a menu would pop up, and if i would hit menu again, the menu would disappear. now when i hit menu the second time it acts as if i pressed the trackball in, selecting the hi-lighted option

Running this os for a couple o days now, and it seems to be the absolutely best one so far... .245 had given me heating issues and this one seems to be running like a charm... 20.5 hrs in my available memory is at 22 mb... And that's definately good...

I've been running .247 for a couple of days now and it's a keeper for me. It's VERY fast, stable and battery life is acceptable. Now if AT&T would get off their a$$'s and push out VVM already - I'd be set!

I'm really liking .247 - so far no issues at all.

I've been experiencing some drop call issues. Had 3 yesterday. 1 while on the phone with att tech, luckily they called me back. If I can make it through the weekend without any I'll chalk it up as random and not an OS issue. Other than that this is by far the best build, IMO.

If you have a rogers device stay away from .245. Constant hour glasses, failed OS upgrades, laggy device. Jump to .247 as soon as possible or stay with your current OS.
