I can confirm .245 has the same flaw as .244 in encrypting files. Looks like when I get home from work, its time to go back on att official release or back to .237

I'm still on .241, what is this encrypted file thing. I assume this means I can't send my pics to others where they can't view them.

Wow, I'm still on the beta release of .210...I was thinking of upgrading but now I'm not sure, might wait for the updates to slow down a bit so more user experiences can be cataloged.

Cornelious, I'd recommend you go with .234

Its a much better OS in every aspect as compared to .210

I used it extensively and then switched to .241 and still iffy abt it... And not willing to switch to .245 with the encryption issue floating around...

So go ahead and try .234...

Question: What does .234 offer that the official release of .221 does not? just wondering.

Most likely little bug fixes, better battery life... A few lil enhancements in terms of faster image thumbnail loads etc...

I was bored tuesday and I tried .241...for all of 15 minutes. I couldn't get a GPS lock. Tried GMaps and BBMaps both were no go.

    I'm back down on .241.

I may try it again as I've read that sometimes you have to reload it a few times.

The odd thing is that since I backed down to .237 my battery life is worse.

That may have something to do with your location... I had no problem picking up up to 11 satelites here in pakistan... And even indoors a couple o times...

I'd seriously prefer 241 and waiting on a clarification on the encryption issues before I up to .245

I've been running .237 for 72 hours now and my battery is only at 60%. Been on internet and wifi maybe an hour or 2, and been doing a decent bit of texting. VERY impressed with battery life.

I never had a problem with GPS lock at my location before.

As soon as I backed down to .237 I had GPS lock in 30 seconds...same location.

As always, your mileage may vary.

Uploaded .244 this morning. I don't know what the encryption deal is as I can send my pics to my pearl via BBM and view them fine. I also saved a new pic from a site and sent it and it worked fine. Haven't tried sending them via email yet. Just to note I store all my media on my SD card.
