I installed it last night, and so far, over .428 that I was running, the speed is drastically improved. A huge difference to be honest. It's very responsive. Noticing a huge increase in battery life so far as well. It's been on almost 24 hours, and I'm only at 90%.
Okay, you just raised my awareness!!! Would you be able to share some insight into the speed improvements. Is that related to the browser, application responsiveness, or overall system speed?
I think I'm going to give it a shot today. Thanks for sharing the good news! 90% after 24 hours is definitely good to hear!!!!!
Overall OS speed for sure. Screen transitions are MUCH smoother. As good as I've ever seen them. No lag whatsoever. Rotational screen switches are almost instant. The browser is significantly faster as well.
Remember, I came from .428, I haven't installed any hybrids.

Okay, gotcha. Transition from .428 to .451.
I've got my laptop prepped for the move. I'll be back in an hour with some updates.
Cool, hope it makes as much as a difference for you as it did for me.
Well, here is a little update.
Shrunk the .451 OS and installed it last night about 7pm. It seemed to be nice and responsive. I did 4 battery pulls before I start setting up my applications. Seemed like after each battery pull, the OS became more "stable". Not sure if that's the word to use. It took about 3 hours or so for the battery life to start to settle. Couldn't get it below 2.1%/hour. The screen was well responsive and didn't require a lot of pressure to select a key. Screen transitions is good. All in all, this a definitely an improvement over .428 and especially over .320.
Said to say, I just went back to my hybrid OS. I woke up this morning to find my battery completely drained. I'm not sure if it's the OS to blame but I couldn't hold out with .451.
Anyone else try the .451? MotoUp has great results. What about you all?
Looks like I have something to do when I get home.
had it on my 9550 for a week and better screen press and response however screen rotation lagg is now apparent but still better than .320 that i was on
Is this comparing .451 to .320?
