Now I just have to decide if I can keep this phone knowing there is a defect. Its not like that key needs to be used. Its just the fact that it can't be that bothers me.

If you bought it from Verizon, go back and demand a new one... folks have done that! I almost did.

I'm calling it a night guys. I'll report back tomorrow if I notice anything more, and by the way, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

I didn't buy it from Verizon. I bought it off of someone. It was brand new when I bought it. I am using it on ATT. So my only option is to get over it or get rid of it.

This might be hard to believe.... but it is actually working a little bit now. I kinda pushed it hard enough to force it to click, then backed out, forced it again, and backed out. I did this numerous times and it feels as though it is loosening up. I still have to push it fairly hard to get it to work, but it is working. I wonder if I just hold on to it a couple weeks and give the keyboard time to break in if it would help any?

Well so far it takes spells. One minute it will be working decent. The next it will be right back to being stupid lol. The guy I bought it from gets back in town January. If it isn't better by then he said he will try to exchange it with Verizon. We will see.

After using the phone today with a full charge the battery seems to holding a charge longer/better. I'd say 20-30% better than with the previous OS (This is an unscientific observation of course)

wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to the tour2 when sprint has them available at the store here. changes seem to be mainly wifi and track pad, correct? anyone gone from a tour to a tour2? worth it, or should i just stick with my tour as i'm quite happy with it, well, will be even more when they release OS 5 for it

This update has made my Storm2 even better. It was great before but it is AWESOME now. No more screen clicking issues, you can see the buttons clearly now as you click on them, and it is even faster than it was before.

If you haven't downloaded this update yet or you were scared to, don't wait...get it now!

That helps. I've been hesitating because I haven't heard any reviews. Usually I jump right on top of the betas, but I've been busy and didn't have the time to switch back if it didn't work out well. Thanks.

I've been running it for about a week and it's been running great! No issues whatsoever. The typing lag that I experienced the first day has gone away and battery life has improved. Screen responsiveness is much better too. I listed some of the changes on my earlier post that I found.
