Back to 4.6.whatever I go... AGAIN!

This really sucks that BBM 5.0 works on os 4.x and not 5.0. I'm sick of resending PIN requests to every one with 4.7 and it sucks that your back up files dont work with 4.7.

I guess that's what I get playing with un-ready software!

Nevermind... I reloaded my back up and all my contacts popped up in BBM 4.7

Thanks Elmer, I wanted to say 2.5, but couldn't remember for sure.

I've been thinking about upgrading to one of the 5.0 leaks but I'm torn between the two. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

There's not a huge difference between the too. The new version seems to include a few bug fixes and is a bit more stable from what I've read. Neither include the tabbed browsing or BBM 2.5, but does include threaded SMS.

What is the best way to upgrade to .238? Just upgrade straight from .190 or do a wipe and reload the new OS via Apploader?

This link no longer works and you cannot give a direct link to a download. Do you have another source for 8900 users to get the .238 OS?

    Latest 5.0 OS

is there a kind soul out there in BB world that can provide me with a working link to download the latest 5.0 OS for the 8900? I have tried a number of them but I get the message that the link has been removed. I want to enjoy the 5.0 OS too. You can email it to me @ hybrid1976@tmo.blackberry.net, pin me @ 24B1DE30, or you can just hit me up on pinstack. Anyone and everyone's assistance in this is greatly appreciated!

Nevermind. I had connected to a Wifi with no Internet connection. Still hate that you can only download apps through App World only though!

I havent. I had a slight problem with it loading on my Blackberry but once I did a battery pull while still connected to the computer it loaded and I was good to go.
