Thanks Azstar! I like this way better.

I am still running 4.5.0.101 beta. Has anyone seen any newer version out in the wild?

I wish that .110 for the curve would work for my 8830 :-(

ehem.... uhh.. mmm ....well... it was never really broke... ehem.... yea.. well, I had transfered music from my PC to a micro SD card , then from there i would copy my music to tons of other devices, and then even to other SD cards, and well over time I bet I had copied card to card to card that by the time I tried to put it in the BB it said, oh no you wont ! so how I found this out was I put the media card in my PC slot and tried to play the music, and it would play for 3 seconds and stop. so.............. I deleted all, reformatted the card again and copied music direclty to the SD and tried it on my bb and it worked fine. I have had music on them cards for over a year and had done so much copying that something just gave in the copy process. i know, I went on forever, I just wanted you to know.

I forget what website I was on but I read that .101 breaks the bluetooth and it doesn't work correctly. My bluetooth was setup before I went to .101 and it is fine.

    Question

I have BT working with the jawbone2 4.5-(101). I had to delete then repair and the sound is ok but i am thinking it was better with the official 4.2.
Can anyone care to confirm that?

    Just an FYI....

I almost bricked my 8830 when trying to update the software using parallels on an iMac. I couldn't find any documentation on this, but after erasing the applications it does the "DUM DUM. DUM DUM" sound about 1/5 of the way though the installation of the new OS. I then got a blank (off) screen and a blinking red light. Ouch.

I dug out my old PC and was able to recover it, but just beware if you are trying to update software on a Mac with parallels.

I am getting a replacement phone tomorrow so I will have to downgrade mine to 4.2.2.196 before sending it back. I think I will be upgrading the new one to 4.5.0.77 not 4.5.0.101
Is there any word of any more beta releases?

I finally took the beta plunge and have enjoyed .101 so far with no problems.

    I used .77 for a day and I'm back to .101
I was unable to change any of the profile ringers. .101 is working great. I just know to stay way from youtube.com
