Been awhile since those of us with older devices had anything to get excited about, but here it is!

A beta release of 4.5.0.153 for many GSM devices can be found here.

I've been running this new os for about a month now with no problems. As usual make sure you delete the vendor.xml file. Mine is an 8310 on ATT. Didn't really see that much of an improvement other than the browser is a hair faster. Other than that haven't seen anything really new.

By the way there is an update for the word and power point in the docs to go. If you've registered you will get the notice for update.

It was forwarded to me by someone else as a zip file and I didn't know where they got it from. Didn't know how to post it properly. Should have asked. My bad. Next time.

Didn't know where he got it from and while I am willing to brick my phone, I didn't want anyone else to by accident. I will see if I can find the zip file when I get home.

No worries, boomer. Azstar has instructions and a linked example in the first post of this thread for future reference.

By the way, I don't really notice much difference over .124 either. Oh well, it was exciting while it lasted!

No need now, boomer. The BerryReview site has links to all the upload files.

Probably not, but then again, I'm gonna end up with some new device before the end of the year anyway!

Waiting on my upgrade next Jan. Probably get the Bold by then. Hate to give up my trusty 8310. Even thought about the 8900. We'll see.
