Ringtones still seem loud to me. Feels a little less crisp when I am texting, and my speaker still sounds hissy and full of static at lower volumes when the music gets soft. Word wrap issue still there as well. All else seems fine thus far. Will know more after a day or two of use.

I downloaded .174 and Youtube works, Camara flash works, Ringtones are not to loud, UMA came right up and I find that it is faster (snappier) than any other OS I have tried. I did not gain any memory and I do not know about battery life yet, but I will let you know. So far, I really like it.

I been on .174 since this am, left the house at 9:15, arrived back around 6:45, used about 170 SMS, 30min web browsing, 20 emails, and about 15 min on the phone and came back with a battery at 85%.

    -Battery is A LOT better
    -Browsing the menu's is quicker
    -No problems with dropped calls
-Haven't noticed a signal boost but at work I have perfect service and when I am home I have perfect UMA so I can't comment on that.
-Ringtones seem a bit smoother sounding.
-YouTube still working for me on EDGE and WIFI

Overall I would say this is an improvement over .168, not a HUGE improvement but I am diggin it so far. To the people that have .168 and are on the fence about upgrading, it's really your call. I haven't had any problems today with .174 but didn't have any problems with .168 either lol

    HotCel,

What do you ave as your APN setting? I am wondering if mine might be wrong and be the cause of my Youtube to not work maybe?

I don't have anything in my APN settings, I don't use any 3rd party browsers or anything, IDK, maybe I'm gangsta?

Download of .174 was very nice. Download and install/upgrade was blazing!! Memory bump from 108 to 125Mb. Youtube working....zippy UI!! We will see what battery life is like. Camera and video load quickly...although you have to refresh GPS again to get Geotag icon to come on (assuming that you have it enabled).

Is it that much better? Considering staying up after work in morning and installing. After 12hr shift in trucks itd better be worth missing sleep. Have to use frinds computer, no internet out here.

I can't say battery life has been too bad on .168 given my usage. Could stand to be better, usually eat more up while in its sleeve @ work for some reason.
