MWC 2010: Blackberry joins in on Webkit based browsing

BlackBerry users rejoice! HTML 5 support is on its way! In fact like other smartphone platforms the new browser will support HTML5, CSS3, and DOM L3, JavaScript and AJAX pages! For one, you will notice PinStack.com via BlackBerry will look a lot different once RIM's new browser is pushed out. The new WebKit browser - available later this year - will download files quicker and display Web sites better.

The Internet browser on BlackBerry devices has been lagging behind competitors such as Google Android, Palm's WebOS and Apple's iPhone for a while now. Faced with mounting consumer pressure, Research In Motion acquired Torch Mobile last year, a web browser-design firm and gave a demo of their replacement BlackBerry web browser at MWC 2010 yesterday.

    Lets hope this launches soon!

So once this hits the market (hopefully with no glitches or lag time) will this have flash support?

Is this gonna be available for all BB's? And is there anything we will have to do or is it gonna be an automatic change?

Actually if u think about it bb is building a solid device they started with key things that are important then made them the standerds for all other smart phones not intell recently did a browser become so important,I think what their doing is tring to build a complete solid device all around insted of going back and patching flaws
