From my observation, the Call Timers are working properly. The only thing that bothers me is the mysterious memory leak that causes me to perform a battery pull now and again, but I deal with it.

seems ok to me so far, not seeing any real differences from .135. I'm hoping for better memory leak management

I have a friend that has a sprint 8830 running .135 and she is experiencing severe battery drain. Would installing .138 help with that?

Can anyone help me pls. I have a 8830 with Bell. My monthly data usage for the last 12 months has not exceeded 200MB. Since yesterday my BB is showing around 559MB data usage in 2 days. I have not downloaded anything or visited any weird site. I get like 20 - 30 emails per day. I have called Bell like 5-6 times since yesterday and no one in tech support or billing can provide me with an explanation. I wiped my BB yesterday and it did not help. Till yesterday evening I my BB showed 395MB of data usage in less than one day. Today it went up to a total of 559MB. I don't know what is happening. Is my blackberry hacked.

I had a colleague who this happened to with an 8830 just before it died. He still hasn't sorted it out with Bell, but he's certain he didn't use anything nuts to rack up the massive (like, 500+mb/mo) data usage.

More on topic, I installed the .169 from Telus and am having massive problems with the 'media processor'. At [often] random times it just stops working, and it won't play any sounds (eg, ringtones, alarm (let me tell you how much fun that was to find out about), mp3's) until I battery pull it. Downgrading it now =(

Edit: Alltel, US Cellular & Telus are all using .169 now, the first post is a little out of date.

BB running very sluggish with .169. I have always had problems with the 8830 being slow and sluggish even with minimal programs installed, and having unexplained memory leaks. Does RIM has a fix for this or are they just interested in introducing one BB after another?
