| The most recent according to At&t... 4.6 Should I upgrde to 4.7 that is available via the BB site? Will that solve this issue? |

| No, there is a common issue with the 4.7 version having trouble recognizing the upgrade. Is the 4.2 version still on your pc? If yes, remove it. Also you shouldn't need to delete the vendor xml for an os for your own carrier, but I have had it happen once that I had to remove it before the install would work so try that maybe.

It did come out for the 8310,8320, 8110, 8120 weeks ago, but not the 8100, 8300, or 8800, it was just released for these older devices when this thread was started. |

I am happy for you all. But, I have to admit a little jealous. I wonder when Sprint is going to come around and follow suit.

| what if you are on BES?
I am using a work-issued BB 8800 where the IT dept has provisioned the BB. If I upgrade the BB using my personal computer at home, will the settings remain intact? When I boot up the BB, I see a progress bar that says "verifying security software". I am concerned that if I upgrade the OS, I will not be able to connect to my work's BES servers. Thanks! |
