It has been available for some devices guys like the 8310,8320,8110,8120, but not for the 8100, 8300, 8800...........even the other forums didn't have it posted for these devices before yesterday........so my question is, if you had it over a month ago, why didn't you share |

I had major problems with the 8100 upgrade. I ended up having to downgrade to the 8100 C version again.

I got an error at the end of the install, application error. Afterward the device rebooted itself every 5 or 10 minutes. Nothing fixed it. I switched back to the 4.2 OS and all is well. |

I was finally able to get around to upgrading my 8300 and it went beautifully. Right down to registering and upgrading Docs 2 Go. I did have to uninstall and reinstall Facebook and MySpace because the icons weren't showing up, but that's very minor. I still haven't had a chance to test the file transfer with bluetooth since that was the issue I ran into with other carriers' versions. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Last edited by ewvarn; 01-06-2009 at 05:00 PM.
