    You guys aren't reloading the OS per se, more like it's just updating. This is what it seemed like to me anyway.

    You don't need to re install the DM either, just make sure you are running 4.2 SP2

    I had to do OTA on all apps and themes...DM,even after download from TMobile,won't let anything through...:/

    I know this is probably a not so smart question, but when I download the new OS, and then run the application loader, will this re-install the OS on the handheld? Or will this just bring up the wondow to load the apps?

    It worked! Finally! Well, from what I did last night, and I followed all in the instructions (including deleting Vendor.xml from the "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader" directory and it seemed to work for me. I left DM 4.2 SP2 on my PC and just loaded (updated if you will) the OS from T-mo and *poof* Application Loader showed me all my programs and all the Blackberry core OS programs loaded onto my BB.

    Just follow the instructions above. It should work perfectly!

    mu problem is that when i click on application loader a window pops up but then it disapears.

    Hopefully this solves it!!!

    ...Just need to get some software installed on one and it's been giving me grief. Seems like this is the place to be for BB help!

    Only gripe: Should've warned that t-mobile's site doesn't like Firefox very much
    No matter. Long as their updates do the trick, that would be very nice.

    WOW, thanks for the info! I havent been able to download/upload any apps or thems to my new 8320, it has been really irritating! Now I re-download the TMO 8320 handheld OS, and viola! I uploaded My Alarm, a theme and mini safe

    ok, so i downloaded everything that you said and when i ran the application loader the things i had tried to load earlier went through but then when i tried it again i got the same error. am i going to have to reload the software everytime i want to load things through the application loader?? is this something i should call my providers technical support to fix?

    I'm new to BB. I love it; I'm using the Curve 8320 on TMobile. I've purchased some third party software using .alx and my desktop manager version 4.2.2.14 (april 07); my Curve's operating system is v422171 Platform 25024 . I've contacted Tmobile and the software manufacturer as well as the vendor, Handango. The software is by MAGMIC, Kragesoft, They tell me to update my desktop manager and software but I believe that I have the most current versions. It's what TMobile has on their site as well as the BB site. And yes, I reinstalled the software from the Tmobile site. It still doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks.
