Has anyone tried Maxmem? I tried it not long ago, I have only one complaint, after I use it, I can't OTA themes. Other than that one small problem, it clears tons of memory space.

Yes, a good friend of mine developed an app called "Capture it" there's an OTA link for it. Just Google Capture it Ota and it'll guide you through the install. Its a hot app!!! I use it all the time! Enjoy

As an alternative to maxmem I just use softreset, I was under the assumption that if you use softreset or so a battery pull you would have recovered as much free memory as possible. Seeing as a battery pull daily would get quite akward I find softreset VERY useful and I really recommend that others check it out.

Yissette, what type of apps are you looking for so that we might be better able to assist you.
Jayshutz, as far as I know there is no way to install any form of Limewire on your blackberry. Applications need to support the OS on your device and come in the proper installation form. Blackberry's use a proprietary OS and a different form of installation files compared to a PC. Even devices running windows mobile cannot install limewire, as it is still technically a different OS.
Best of luck to the both of you.
