    RIM BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac (v1.0.0) Leaks; Apple Users Rejoice
    A leaked version of Research In Motion's (RIM) new BlackBerry Desktop Software for Macintosh computers hit the Web this morning, at least a few weeks before RIM intended to ship it. The software is big news for Mac users, who've in the past been forced to use inefficient software from third-parties--or Windows PCs--for their BlackBerry backup and syncing needs.

    About time. I have a quetion. Will it be compatible with my apple computer if I have an imac g5 running mac os x 10.4.11?

    the syncing doesn not work well, for the calendar at least. it kept adding on new copies of appointments...very frustrating

    I'm not able to complete my application updates myself. It fails partway through. Oh well, back to PocketMac for now.

    so is it worth downloading and giving it a try or no? i don't even have pocketmac bc i sync to a PC right now.
