I never went to 4.7 because of the early (bad) reports - I'm still on 4.6 and have no reason to jump into DM 5.0 until I'm sure it's clean - I have enough to do without going through any DM problems, if they're there.

Gotta agree that the sync and backup are incredibly faster. It did a full backup of my device in like 5 seconds. Had to do a quick re-install of the OS too to get the new BBM 5 working and that process seemed to be much quicker also.

The second build of 4.7 was much better than the initial release, but from what I've seen of 5.0, lots of great improvements. Backup speed is definitely waaaay faster than older versions!

Not like you're PIN isn't registered with them anyways when the phone registers itself on BIS.

I think it's the part about "...RIM tracks the activation of certain features..." Do you feel like BB stands for "big brother?"

Actually if we knew all the tracking that goes one with us we'll all be scared out of our wits. It's only going to intensify - there's a lot of $ in it.

cb, if you're talking about 3d-party apps I think most of them run under 5.0. There may be a few that won't - it depends on what you've got. Anyone else care to post what did NOT run for them under 5.0?
