Drice

You can get os 5,0,0,230 right from the blackberry site. Na.blackberry.com.
If you go to support and service you can either download the os or do the webapp loader right from the site. Just remember to plug ur phone in so the site can read ur current os.

does anyone know why 8330 and 8350i are supported but not all the 8300 series? I though if the SW is good for one of them, its good for all.

It has a few small glitches but nothing major. It froze once me. It runs slightly sluggish. Hoping for the official release soon.

From what I understand, 5.0 OS should require atleast 96mb of ram but I have read of people running it on 8830 phones, which only have 64mb of ram.

I can't wait..I need the official because I've tried 5.0 leaked version and had to downgrade twice...To many issues...I'm being patient...:-)

I had 5.0.0.314 on my bold for about 2 weeks having too much battery drain tweaked everything else to work. IE. pocket day, bbm etc. Anyway, longtime mac user with dm but much more familiar with windows when it comes to installing beta os on blackberry. Prob 15 times over the years.Downgraded back to .297 wasn't worth the few bells & whistles.
