The optic mouse will be awsome. The samsung Omnia has one and its really nice. I think it will be much better than the track ball.

I think it will be great on a high end device. Not sure the 8520 will be high end. I will have to wait till they put it on a tour or a bold.

    I have read:

    • Edge device
    • 320 by 240 display
    • 256 megabytes of internal memory (same as 8900)
    • 1150mAh battery
    • 2 megapixel camera, no flash
    • processor: ?

Doesnt help with the processor question but gives alittle insight. I would assume similar to the 8900.

Optical track ball or not. If its not going to top the 8900; I think its a waste. Tmo needs to pounce on the 2nd gen storm. That sounds more promising than Gemmy....

Now if they put 3g on it and a bigger processor than the present day storm for tmo, then its a diff story.... and that will get me pumped up.

RIM needs to start pumping up the internal memory on the new phones if they want to be serious about the blackberry app store...

Agreed. They need to run faster procesors and more mem so there are no memory leaks or slow down issues.
