Could not stand it, Rogers 8900 on the way

Love my Bold but would like to try out the 8900 on the AT&T network. It should be here tomorrow. It was unlocked by Rogers and should be ready to go! I will miss using my charging stand on the Bold but likley will be back with the Bold in a month or so and use the 8900 as a spare.

"Please note phone is originally from Rogers but Unlocked directly by Rogers."

It is indeed stated in the auction but trust me. Rogers does NOT give out unlock codes.
Either way it doesnt really matter because no matter who unlocks it it doesnt make any difference.

Not really. It is really not much more that one would pay if they purchased from their own carrier without a contract extension. I will use it a couple of weeks and likely sell it and go back to my Bold. If you will look at my eBay items sold, this is what I do. (greggebhardt)

Do you do this for profit or just to try out new devices?

Sure wish I had the options you have to get a Bold and now a 8900. I'm just salavating over the 8900, hope I can swing it when it comes. Or better yet if RIM would give the 6 8900's from the contest would be the ultimate to turn the whole family on.

There is no profit in buying items at retail or higher and then selling them a few days or weeks later.

It is strictly for entertainment. I indulge in phones and photographic equipment

Lol too bad you didnt like it. But as I always say, make it your main device for at least 2days then make a decision.
