On July 16, the new BlackBerry 8900 Software Upgrade Version 4.6.1.231 will be available for customers to download for free at http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade or via the Online BlackBerry Device Software Update tool.The software upgrade includes a number of device fixes and enhancements such as improved battery life and audio/speakerphone enhancements. The upgrade also fixes a number of known issues such as the myFaves contacts displaying an hourglass after a software upgrade and myFaves interface missing after receiving SIM swap errors.

i went onto the tmobile website and i do not see the 4.61.231 update. where can i find this and is it available OTA?

connect the phone to the pc via usb, and using Internet Explorer Click Here and follow the on screen prompts....

No updates available as yet. Well if and when available can be downloaded through wireless mode.

Im sure they have one coming, remember TMO had the 8900 a few months before AT&T released it-at least I hope they do.
