While Flash and SVG may appear similar they in fact very different. SVG is much more complex language, but allows for an incredible amount of customization. I am still trying to learn everything SVG can allow us to do.

Don't know if this helps but the first time I tried the download I tried saving the file and I got an error at the end of the download. The second time I downloaded, I just did the run option instead of the save file option and it worked. Although it took almost an hour to download, it maxed out at a transfer rate of 63.1 kb/s!

ive experienced that with RIM device software too...the download doesn't complete. im sure this morning TONS of people were downloading.

additionally, the same hack for the 4.5, for exporting to lower OS's, works as well...

1. make sure Themebuilder is CLOSED
2. locate the Plazmic CDK 4.5 directory in Program files.
3. go to the directory RESOURCES
4. select the file THEME
5. look for 2 folders. 1 is dimension240×260, the other dimension 320×240.
6. within the dimension 240×260 there is a file called 8100Custom.
7. Edit the following lines to look like this:
   The files are located in the Resource/Theme directories, then the 240×260 directory (will have the 8100 files) the 320×240 (will have the 8300, 8800 files)
8. these are the lines you edit:
   theme.supportedHandheldOs = 4.2.1,4.2.2,4.5
   theme.preferredHandheldOs = 4.5
   theme.importOs = 4.2.2,4.3.1
9. Go to the dimension320×240 file and do the same for the 8300Custom, 8800Custom.

Part of this may be a little off topic here but I need a little help.

Got this fully installed and attempting my first theme. It will be a Sims 2 Zen style theme for OS 4.5 Pearls. What I'm wanting to do:

Have all icons (except 3rd party downloads) appear as small iconic pictures I downloaded online for each of the expansion packs and stuff packs for the PC and other platforms (Nintendo DS, Wii, PSP, GameCube, GameBoy Advance).

When the icon is highlighted, text will appear for whatever that icon is linked to.

Have a background of The Sims 2 base game to show when the keypad is locked.

I am using the stock banner icons (messages, phone call alerts, signal, and battery levels, etc) unless these can be customized also.

The problem I am having (and this may be because this is my first theme) is getting each item to have a different icon.

If it helps, I just created a zip of all the icons I want to use.

erica, you have to load the icons in the homescreen menu. you can add non focus/focus icons by clicking the individual icon and browsing to where you have the new ones saved.

you will need them to be 48x36 in size and preferably png format (although i believe that the cdk will convert it to png for you)
