thats rediculous why they would even do so.. they know 90% of the reason a client wants a phone unlocked is to not be used under their current provider anymore... oh welll gott amake that $$$ somehow.. cats how u liking ur storm?? is it worth the unlocking and using??

best BB Ive ever had and I have had them all - much to my wife's shagrin! LOL. I only unlocked mine though for resale value. I would recommend the Storm. Took me about a week to get used to - a whole different experience.

For the member who's not sure about getting the 9530 working on AT&T, T-Mobile, etc below is a link to a thread with a step by step guide. The only pre-condition is the device must of course be unlocked. http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...t_and_t-95645/ |

all reports say everything is fine on Tmobile. You may have a browser issue but there are threads on loading the generic TMobile browser service book. Many report full edge data, voicemial, voice, and BES and BIS service without any problems. Mine is unlocked and works on TMobile SIM i tried from friend.. thats as much first hand as I can offer though.

To all who have the device inlocked, just to make sure I understand u guys, u got the phone unlocked and u still have the phone active on a verizon account after the unlock process? If so, that may be where all the confusion is. I cant speak for all, but I think most Pin Stack forum guest want to know if u can unlock it with verizon, then use it on at&t or tmobil, simply put: Once u buy the phone and go through the unlocking steps, u don't want to keep the account with verizon, or if u do keep it, u don't want the storm a part of the account. I f u don't know the answer, plz dont comment as if u do, thx....

you buy the phone get them to unlock it for you then you can keep using it on verizon like nothing ever happened or you can keep it for your own use on ATT and switch between ATT and verizon (but you cannot have both numbers on at the same time) or you can sell it if you want and switch the ESN on your account for another Verizon phone Last edited by ranxoren; 12-12-2008 at 10:04 PM. |
