The Storm is on the 3g Verizon network, so anywher eint eh US it's running on the CDMA EV-DO Rev A. network, which isn't GPRS or EDGE and is actually much faster. Anywhere outside the USA it should run on EDGE or GPRS because it is a World Phone and friendly to GSM networks, just not in the US.
