Can the custom dictionary on the Storm automatically add frequently used words like on the Pearl or do you have to enter words in manually, which sucks if that's the case?

Well since the Storm also uses suretype, the answer is yes. Check out this from RIM's site. It tells how to turn off auto adding of words so you can use the same menu to ensure it is set to on on your device: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/deliver..._253394_11.jsp

I totally missed Storm in original post. It should have a custom wordlist because it does have both SureType and a full QWERTY keyboard.

Thanks. That's good information but those settings are already enabled on my Storm. I checked my custom dictionary and it hasn't added a word ever. I've had my phone for almost a month so it looks like it's not automatically adding words.
