Awesome. That makes the home screen look so much better with just one line.

Anyone found way to lock # keys in keyboard mode or other keyboard shift/lock tips. On my Curve it was alt-cap to lock #'s.

New behavior;

I have work, personal and BB/vzw email accounts on it. I hid the underlying message accounts and use "Messages" at the top tier layer (it combines all the message accounts into one folder). Worked fine for the last few days, I haven't changed anything, but now; if I open a message in the "Messages" top tier folder- it doesn't mark opened the same message in the underlying, specific email message folder. Did I explain the well? Any ideas?

Yep, just hold the cap or alt key for a second or two, and you'll see a little padlock on it. To unlock it, just hit it again, and it'll go back to the letters.

I know what you mean, I stumbled onto it by accident. And thanks for the Trust.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am aware of the triangles when viewing messages, but I don't have that option when browsing the web. I'd like to see a good quick way to scroll up and down webpages... Wish I could make the volume up, volume down buttons do that...

here is one I just discovered on my own... but I bet some of you guys may already know it.

Automatic filter/search shortcut.
In your mailbox, tap and hold your finger over the senders name for 3 seconds and you will see a light blue text box run from either end of the name and highlight it. After it has finished a black dialog box will pop up with the words "searching..." and a new list will be generated using all of your emails or texts from that sender.

You can do the same by tapping and holding your finger over the subject and it will bring up every email with that subject.

Deleting messages

When I delete an email message, I get a choice of deleting "On Mailbox and Handheld" or "On Handheld". I always want to delete "On Handheld" only- anyway to make that a default, so I can skip this step?

Was never able to bring up the text box. So may just need to keep at it as I have to delete to get to the place where I want to make a correction.

Found it. In Messages, hit the berry button/Options/Email Reconciliation. Once there, select the account(s) and make your setting choice.
