Now this is just a rumor, BlackBerry Sync claims that an anonymous user sent screen shots -- supposedly of the new BlackBerry Thunder user interface (UI). Previous reports suggest that the screen will be a 360 x 480 touch-screen - larger than iPhone's 320x480.

It's going to be a treat to see RIM's new UI and the multimedia capabilities which is about the only weakness of current BlackBerry models against iPhone.

The Thunder continues to impress. The form factor looks excellent, and the media player looks very very good. I'll wait for a hands on of the UI before I get really really excited, but this looks like it could definitely be my next phone.

If it does have a slide-out keypad, that would be pretty kool, but a nice big quick acting touch keypad wouldn't be bad either...something like this (image attached) quick mock up I did
