Typing delay - solution

For those of you that are experiencing a lag in keypad response time, try this; go to options, keyboard/screen, and change key rate from default to fast. See if that makes a difference!

I changed it last night and this thing is flying!

I hope that helps someone!

That's something users can over look and it never hurts to have a reminder that that feature is there.

It also helped mine but still a bit of lag when dialing a number.......not too bad now......maybe the next OS will address this.

Is this an option on the Curve? I have not noticed it. I don't have mine as I am waiting for a Rim replacement to arrive.

But my question is why would anyone want a slower response when pressing a key? Why default and fast options?

Gotta add that Tmo gave me a little Nokia 2760 flip as a loaner (VERY basic phone) and that has me thinking again about the 8220.
