    x-treo user - calendar help!

I just got a BB 8703e (Sprint). I was a treo user for 2 years and relied very heavily on the calendar feature.

How can I display upcoming appts and tasks on the home screen?

    Thanks!

i think you are referring to the dimension today theme

you should ask CP6169 or srl7741...they will know where to find it and if it works on your bb

I would consider getting the program BB today you can get it in the download section, it give you all your appointment, calls, missed calls, tasks, weather and stocks
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it

Welcome to Pinstack.com! BBtoday is a good option. Find it here:
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...id=5&linkid=27

But I would try Pocketday for 30 days free if I were you:
    http://www.crossriversystems.com/poc..._downloads.htm

    Here's a quick tip...

When you open the Calendar application for the first time, you are presented with a screen that looks like a standard wall calendar, which shows one month at a time. This may be useful sometimes, but other times you really need to look at the calendar in a different way. Calendar offers four different ways of viewing information. They are
    *Monthly
    *Weekly
    *Daily
    *Agenda

Since you sound like you have a lot of appointments, I would suggest you try "Agenda" view first.

    Hope this helps.

I am also an ex treo user and have another question to add to this thread. I sometimes like to enter multiple calendar dates at one time so I used to enter them on the sync site and have them to sync to my treo. Basically my question is this, if i download one of the 3rd party apps will the information sync with 3rd apps when i enter the info on the sync site? thanks in advance.

    Verizon Guy, Welcome to PinStack.

Not sure if I understand your question, but if it's what I'm thinking, you are asking about a PIM on your PC to sync with the BB. Is that right? If so, there are several PIMs that are compatible with the BB, Outlook, ACT and Lotus are some that will work with the Desktop Manager.
And if you're talkingg about entering recurring events, you can do that in the BB Calendar by editing the recurrance settings on the calender entry.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with your BB.

I saved BBToday from the website to my desktop. My computer says it can't open the file. How do I install it on my BB?

    Thanks!

If it is a .cod/.alx file set you will need to use the Application Loader feature of Desktop Manager. If it is a .jad file, it was meant to be installed directly on your BB from the site you downloaded it.

    Hope this helps

Wireless sync is limited to BES 4.0+ at this time.
