    Question Unable to load new apps on my 8700r

    The version of Desktop Manager I was supplied with by my company does not seem to "see" any new apps I download.

    As well, after I try and use this feature of Desktop Manager 4.0.1.10 the device hangs and keeps "connecting to desktop"

    I have to reboot by taking out the battery.

    Lastly how do I delete apps off the device that I dont want?

    Any suggestions?

    Hey, welcome to pinstack.

    To delete apps you dont need from your BB visit options, advanced... click the wheel while the app is highlighted and choose delete.

    As for loading apps, your company may have blocked it with an IT Policy. Since it is their device and they are paying the freight, they have the right to do it so it might be a good idea to follow it. Generally those things are done for security reasons and to decrease the need for additional support which those apps can sometimes cause.

    Talk with the BES Admin if you have questions.
