    Hello there,
does anyone know the way to transfer my Sidekick phone book
    to my blackberry?
I'd rather not use my sim card to do it just because i have about 450 numbers and my sim will only save 250 of them.

    thank you

    p.s: i use a mac osx platform.

I had to type in each contact one by one because I had the same issue and transferring the address book didn't work. I didn't have that many contacts but it still didn't work.

Since the phonebooks are stored on different server for sidekick you have to reenter them or use the tool on tmobile.com to send them to your phone, or use outlook to enter your contacts

The problem is getting your address book from the Sidekick to your Mac. I found only two solutions, so check them out and make a choice:

    #1 - The Missing Sync for hiptop/sidekick

#2 - Square peg round hole instructions for getting addresses between the two. I'm not with Tmobile, so I don't know how their system works with the online account address book thing.

However, there is great news for keeping your BlackBerry in sync with your Mac:

PocketMac is free and supported by RIM.

Sidekicks suck. I had a Sidekick 2 last summer and I was ready to throw it into the river after a few weeks. BlackBerry is now my friend.

my best recommendation would use up the 250 number slots on your sim card - then transfer them to the bb - copy all to phone and then delete everything off the sim - then go back to the sidekick and copy all the remaining contacts - and go back to the bb. You should be fine after that

Thank u for all the replies.I had to do it the old fashion way. Input numbers in mac adress book one by one and then sync with pocketmac. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
