Can somebody tell me how to change the settings to view a webpage in the same way as it could viewed over Internet explorer with out the images on the webpage being sliced at different parts.....

There is no way to view them exactly like in IE, the Blackberry browser needs work in my opinion.

The closest you are going to get with the BB browser is this:
while in your browser hit menu>select options>select browser configuration.
My settings-
Browser: Internet Browser
Check all the Boxes
Show images: on wml and html pages
Emulation Mode: Microsoft IE
Content mode: wml & html

Other than that Using Opera Mini is best.

Thnx a lot dfc420 for the response. Have tried doin all that anyways... well....am done with opera mini, coz first of all it dint work on my device.. cud be coz of the operator that gives me support and secondly, i cant uninstall the damn thing from my device..... no offence... but i really dunno how to get rid off that module..

Try searching for ReqWireless WebViewer - it does allow some sort of full IE type functionality...
