I'm also thinking about buying one soon, after seeing all the pictures and hearing how well it works. But a quick question. How easy is it to carry it around? I'm kinda limited on places where I can use a beltclip which is one reason I went to the 7100 series BB's. I usually just throw the phone in my backpack.

    Hey Erica,
Its not TOO bad...Granted its not as small as a 7100, but its not as big as the original blackberries either. One thing I recommend-Get a different case-The case sucks-BIG TIME. It doesn't fit right at all and the chances of it falling out are too great. It is maybe a little less than an inch wider than the 7105. In fact, let me take a pic of the them side by side so you can compare.

    Fortte/Bellagio 8700 Series Cases http://www.bellagiodesigns.com/showcategory3.php/82

    E-Access Solutions 8700 Series Cases http://www.eaccess-estore.com/store/...category_id=46

    Krusell 8700 Series Cases http://www.krusell.se/searchResult.p...%2F+v&x=12&y=8

Here's a little help in case u (or anyone else who just bought an 8700 series phone) want to get a different case. I personally like the Open Face cases (with a screen protector built in like the E-Access case) for ease of use of the BB while in the case. You can get a screen protector built into a Bellagio/Fortte case if u ask for one, and it's free of charge. Personalization adds a few dollars to the case (15 for your name or initials, 25 for a logo). I can't wait for the case I ordered 2 weeks ago to come.

I would suggest for everyone to get a 8700, i had a 7280, upgraded to a 8700r, and would never go back to a BB without EDGE, and the Intel processor rocks! Doesn't hesitate at all, no matter how much you're doing at one time. I can be installing an app OTA, and still pin messaging, etc.
    Don't hesitate, get a 8700!

Wow that sounds really fast! No more watching the hour glass spin and rotate, spin and rotate, spin and rotate, spin and rotate... Enjoy!

I wish I had waited but at the time I was in a situation like Brenda and needed a phone ASAP. I like my 7105t but if the 8700 had already been out, I would have gotten it.

You know I'm thinking about that 8700, I've seen pictures and heard great raving reviews. Now all I have to figure out is should I pay rent or get a 8700, rent or 8700, rent or 8700. Sleeping in my car is starting to look real appealing! Somebody help me before I end up sleeping in my car!
