Switch off BES while leaving BIS on

    Hi all,

Im running DM 4.1 for my 8707v, with both BES and BIS. As I am leaving on vacation this week, I would like to have my BES mails not forwarded, while leaving my BIS mails coming through. Can I do this?

Ive tried via DM (chaninging some of the settings) but when I do it seems to stop BIS too which I find strange....

Did you change to "Don't forward messages to the device" under the email settings?

You could delete the BES service books and then do another enterprise activation when you come back.

i guess that would work as a last resort... would a filter work? like, not forwarding mails to my work address (to, cc, bcc)?

You should be able to use the filters for this. The fitler approach would be a lot less trouble when you want to resume mail delivery.
