    Saving Settings

When I change settings in a particular theme...and then change themes and then go back to the original theme...my settings are always reset to factory settings...such as the Font type & size.
Is there a way for me to save these settings for each theme?

I believe...if I'm correct, that you have to adjust that IN the theme. Using the plazmic theme builder, then resave and load to the BB. Someone else may prove me wrong though.

    Re: Saving Settings

Thanks TechieGirl for the reply & welcome. Before I exit the theme...it automatically asks if I want to save the settings. The problem I'm having is that it keeps reseting back to the original factory setting. I would save my setting for the Dimension theme...then switch to the Insight theme...and when I switch back to the Dimension theme...my setting are gone and it's back to the factory settings.
I'm going to try the plazmic theme builder you recommend...where can I get it?

    Here you go jindragon...... https://www.plazmic.com/PlazmicDownl...onForm.do?id=1

Also, when you make settings in one theme, and you switch to another theme, the settings of the new theme will appear, then if you switch back the settings of the first theme should come back. Make your own with the provided link, thats what I do!

Make sure you read the instruction and pre-requisites. You also need to download the latest BB JDE and Sun Java J2SE SDK.

    Hope this helps

    Re: Saving Settings

Do you know where I can get the BB JDE? Got the Java. I don't even know what they are... I tried install Plasmic and I couldn't.

Kind of sucks that it's sooooo difficult to personalize the Blackberry...especially the simple stuff...like being able to save each theme's settings.

The Blackberry Jave Development Environment can be downloaded from the download section of the Blackberry website and the latest version of the Sun SDK, google Sun Microsystems and search their site for the latest version of the J2SE SDK.

    Hope this helps.
